THANK YOU! We had an amazing time and the groom was thoroughly impressed and excited. The weather (rain) worked in our favor, actually, because we had just given him a 2 hour rally drift course the day before as his gift. Anyway, thanks again for the great pictures and the fun times. We'll be back for sure.

Thanks to everyone at PGP Motorsport Park for making our Father’s Day outing a blast. Every staff member I came in contact with leading up to and on Sunday was wonderful to work with! You have a great team working at PGP – Keep up the great work!
Veronica Aitkins
Thank you guys so much for standing out in the rain, just so we could ride! You have a top notch operation there and Mike and crew were a pleasure to meet and ran a really fun event today! Very proud to get to call PGP my new home track!! Thanks again for all of you efforts. Thanks again for a great day!
Jeremy Kendall, The Motoshop/ Monster Energy/ Honda Racing
The track is absolutely amazing. Every driver wants to drive there. It is fun and educational, with corner variations and different length straights. PGP is a lot more of a challenge, which in the long term will make you a better driver.

I seem to have stumbled into some sort of worm-hole? I have entered into a realm in which Time and Space melt into one singular, ceaseless expansion of never ending nothingness. Objects whizz by at unbelievable speeds that the mind's eye struggles to comprehend. The sensations are unfathomable. My body feels as though it is being pulled in every direction at once and gravity has been somehow accelerated to the point of nausea as I struggle to take a normal breath. My lungs compress at every turn forcing me to be consciously aware of how fragile the human body really is. The situation seems dire at best but my adrenal glands are pumping hard and even though common sense would dictate that I turn back and end this madness I'm mysteriously drawn deeper into this new and exciting world of chaos and confusion.
There is a machine here, unlike any other I have ever seen. It's form is powerful and mesmerizing. I try to look away but I can't. I'm like a bug drawn to a porch light. I know I should turn and run but it's just so beautiful. It's parts look to be machined from the heart of the stars themselves. They appear to be assembled by beings that are far superior to our own. Each piece interconnected with the next... bending and flowing together, forming an almost organic masterpiece of puzzle work. The surfaces are smooth and cold to the touch but the colors are like nothing nature could ever produce. They are so vibrant it almost seems alive.
I've entered into a journey no man should attempt on his own. I may never return to the comfortable life I once knew such a short time ago but there is no way to turn back now. My fate has been cast... I will accept the challenges ahead for there is no alternative but to move forward.
I don't recall how I got here or what circumstances led me down this path. I write this as a warning to all who may follow.....
Shifter karts kick a**!!!! Enter at your own risk...

Just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality last Sunday. You guys run a great facility and make it very pleasurable to be there. A real family feel to the place.
Nick Foster, The Brothers Powersports
"I just wanted to thank you and your team at the race track for a great time... You do a great job and it is a nice family setting, we are telling everyone how much fun we had. I would want everybody to know what a great experience this was! We are coming back soon. Thanks so much. Thanks to Paul, you and the team."
Jim O'Dell and the MYCO Guys
"PGP... in one word, WOW! What an amazing facility. From the very moment I showed up, I felt welcome. I arrived with virtually no experience and everyone at PGP made me feel special. There is a real sense of family at the track. No matter what a person’s background is, everybody is there for the love of doing the best they can on the track. Shoot, half the fun is bench racing afterwards. The importance of safety is apparent from the start. Once I strapped on the helmet and slid myself into the seat of the race kart, I felt like the racing world was mine to capture.
"Thanks to the PGP family for creating such an amazing facility."
Sean Naslund
"Paul Zalud’s 11-year dream project was completed four months ago, bringing one of the coolest karting facilities in the world to the Pacific Northwest... Over the past few years, I’ve been watching the construction of Pacific Grand Prix every time I headed in and out of Pacific Raceways... always wondering when I would have the chance to get out and race on the new track. So when Paul stopped by recently and offered a few of us the chance to experience his new facility, well... he didn't have to twist anyone's arm.
"Karts, helmets, and all gear were provided at the track to keep even a first-timer’s trip to the track as worry-free as possible. Let me tell you, these Birel N35 karts aren’t your normal rental machine. At 45mph down the front straight, you learn that real quick! The grade changes and banked corners are perfectly laid out, each corner different from the last. I wasn’t able to keep myself from giggling behind my helmet as I slid through the corners, and this seemed to be a common theme for all of us out there...
"The 22-acre gearhead dreamland isn’t just setup for weekend karting with your buddies. Paul has also been filling out track time with Supermoto, drifting, and even lapping days for local car clubs. So, pick your poison and head out to Pacific Grand Prix. You can thank me later by buying me a few laps."
Derek Wescott, InMyGarage.com
"It is the most epic kart track I've ever driven on!"
Jeff Dickson, Woodinville
"WOW!!! This track is awesome. I never thought I would see the day that this track would finally become a reality. They built it so now we all have to come. What I like best is that this track doesn't favor shifter karts over TaG karts or vice versa, both will enjoy it. Paul, Tim, and the rest of the staff are all really friendly and will help you get started, don't be afraid to give it a try for your first time. We had almost as much fun practicing as we did watching the rental karts race. Well worth the drive [and] it's only 45 miles from my house. I'll be back, and back, and back..."
Brian Simmons, Boeing Employees' Karting Club President
"I'm so glad I made the seemingly lengthy trip from Lynnwood to Pacific Grand Prix a couple of months ago. I have been a motor sports fan since the day, almost 50 years ago, when my father and I started going to the local quarter-mile dirt stock car track. During that time I've always been a spectator. From time to time over the years I'd think that karting would be a safe and inexpensive way of participating but information was hard to come by and I never lived close enough to a karting track. Well, information on karting is now easy to find on the Internet and I now live close to a track.
“But not just any track. Pacific Grand Prix is a beautiful, well-run facility. The track is wide and smooth with ample runoff areas and the latest in timing and safety features. It has a terrific layout, fast and flowing in spots and technical in others. It's challenging for all levels of ability.
“But it's people that ultimately determine your level of enjoyment and the staff at PGP is exceptional in every meaning of the word. They go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome from people taking part in their first rental kart experience to veteran racers. They are always there to answer your questions and give you encouragement and coaching. And on top of it all they are just fun people to spend time with.
“I have recently started the Fall Rental Kart Series. This is absolutely the most fun I've had in ages. Everyone who participated in the first race of the series from the winner to those bringing up the rear (that would be me) had a blast. There are participants of all levels of ability so there will always be someone to race with and challenge you. Whether your goal, like mine, is to buy your own race kart and participate in future sanctioned race series or just to come out and have a great time I would encourage you to come join us.
“And that trip from Lynnwood? It no longer seems that long."
Stuart Barney, Lynnwood
