Pacific Grand Prix Karting School

We at Pacific Grand Prix are looking forward to launching our comprehensive instructional series.  Included in this program will be beginner driver training on our 9.5hp Birels, designed to teach kids and adults alike, these classes will cover all the basic fundamentals of Karting.  As our fleet of instructional karts grow and as our driver’s skill levels increase we will be able to offer intermediate and advanced Karting classes as well.

While driving a kart is one thing, racing one is another thing altogether.  In that vein, a separate series of classes will be available with the single-minded purpose of turning a driver into a competitive racer.  During this instruction you can expect to learn, for example, how to “read” a track, the ins and outs of passing and race craft techniques.  As you progress from beginning racer through intermediate then on to advanced racing training the class sizes will decreases to allow more personalized and specific one-on-one coaching from the instructors and staff.

In addition to driving instruction will be organizing and holding various Karting clinics.  Each of these, whether offered as a one day seminar or a series of clinics, will be very hands on, detailed programs designed to cover everything from kart maintenance, to race set-up, to driver conditioning just to name a few.

At Pacific Grand Prix will have a full range of karts on hand.  Starting with the 9.5hp 4 strokes, TaG and up to a 125 shifter.  All of our instructors will be available by appointment should you be having trouble deciding which type of Karting is best for you and you would like to go for a test drive or two.  Or perhaps you’ve just purchased a new kart and you wish to become more proficient.  Even if you are just one of the curious and you would like to have some one-on-one time to see what all the fuss is about.  We will have the karts and people available to give the experience you are looking for.
