Rental Kart Classes

Cadet Racer (ages 8-11)

The Cadet Racer course is aimed at giving young racers an opportunity to get on track at PGP. This age group will race in the Cadet Karts which have a top speed of approximately 35 mph. This class is approx. 1 hour and focuses on driving safety, flags, rules, racing etiquette, and basic driving technique. This class will include basic kart control exercises and includes on-track driving sessions. This class will focus on confidence in the kart while stressing safety for your young driver. Junior Racer Course (ages 12-14)

This course is a pre-requisite for any driver in this age group who wishes to participate in the Arrive and Drive Sessions. This class focuses on driving safety, flags, rules, racing etiquette, and basic driving technique. This class will include basic kart control exercises and includes on-track driving sessions.Call to reserve your class time today. This class is 1 hour. $75.00

Beginning/Intermediate Racer Course

Our Intermediate Karting Course is designed for students who currently race or are looking to start racing. In addition to classroom instruction, students will walk the track and participate in 4 on-track driving sessions. This class will cover kart basics, general instruction, how to "read" the track and racing lines, with an emphasis on smooth driving. The course will be catered to the driving level of the participant. This class is 2 hours. $150.00

Advanced Karting Course

Our Advanced Karting Course is for those who have completed the Beginning/Intermediate class and want to continue building on those lessons with much more detained instruction. This course focuses on personalized instruction and will cater to specific areas for improvement. You'll learn advanced race line methodology, braking maneuvers, and passing techniques. Our professional instructors will push you to fine tune your new found skills which will result in faster lap times. This class is 2 hours. $175.00
